Data Restoration

Recovery of backup data can occur from local storage, vaulted storage, or backup archived data. If recovery is needed for a large file from vaulted or backup archived data, Razor can export the data to portable storage and deliver the encrypted data for importation into the local appliance.

Razor Technology data vaulting service integrates many features to help IT managers establish and manage recovery point and time objectives across all types of data, users, and applications.

The Message Level Restore function allows administrators to set pre-determined levels of email backups and restores. This enables the administrator to quickly recover messages – including a single email - without waiting for the restoration of an entire email system.

System Recovery

Restoring an application or server is a simple and straight-forward operation. Using the locally stored backup data, restores occur at LAN speeds - enabling the recovery of an application or server to occur within a few minutes. The bare metal backup and non-hardware specific restore function provides restoration functionality without the need for the exact same hardware.

File Recovery

To restore a file is a very simple process of selecting the file you want to restore, the date you want to restore from and identifying where you want the restored to land.

The client maintains control of their backup / restores policies and procedures and has direct access to their software and has the ability to perform all functions they need. Or if you would prefer, Razor Technology offers a managed solution to handle the day-to-day operations of your backup environment.
